Cat No:OACIO-0001
Indium oxide (In2O3) is a white or light yellow powder that turns reddish-brown upon heating. In the presence of hydrogen or other reducing agents, it can be reduced to metallic indium or lower indium oxides at 400–500°C. It decomposes at high temperature and is insoluble in water, behaving as a stable ceramic-like material. As an N-type semiconductor, it is used as a resistive element in integrated circuits and can form heterojunctions with p-InP, n-GaAs, and n-Si. Typical applications include ITO target materials, specialty glass, batteries, and chemical reagents. Supplied as a 100-mesh powder with customizable specifications.
